Singapore’s Public Utilities Board is constructing a network of deep tunnel sewers to provide a cost-efficient, sustainable solution for used water collection, treatment, reclamation, and disposal. CES_SDC and AECOM Singapore were responsible for design review and faced technical and coordination challenges, compounded by a tight timeline and strict standards. They needed integrated technology to access project data in real-time, automate modeling and design changes, and monitor construction progress.
CES_SDC and AECOM Singapore selected ProjectWise to eliminate the need for manual data and design updates, which accelerated information sharing by 30%. Using SYNCHRO 4D, they automatically linked 3D models with the construction sequence, saving 20% in time. Through collaborative workflows and automated processes, they focused on construction issues rather than spending hours on data management. Today, they are continuing to test other Bentley solutions for overall BIM and asset information management.
