To help facilitate development of the Yangtze River Delta, efforts are being made to accelerate building the Hongqiao Business District into an international open hub, creating a world-class business environment. To help plan the project, Shanghai Kanrong Information Technology needed to demonstrate the area of integration of the Yangtze River Delta. They realized that they needed reality modeling technology to upgrade the existing large-scale digital maps.

Shanghai Kanrong Information Technology selected holographic surveying and mapping methods along with ContextCapture to capture and process 3D data, improving the data processing efficiency. The reality mesh will provide an accurate digital representation of the area, upgrading the 1:1,000 scale topographic maps.
