To supply clean water to both rural and urban areas, PACE was tasked with designing an INR 22 million filter house with a capacity of 3.8 megaliters per day. The team had to create a general arrangement drawing, hydraulic flow diagram, and design of all the water treatment plant’s components. However, after using applications that did not deliver satisfactory analysis and design, they sought a digital solution to meet their needs.

PACE chose STAAD to design and analyze the various structures in the proposed water treatment plant. It helped them streamline the process for both concrete and steel structures, saving significant time. They could deliver the project to the client 1.5 months ahead of schedule, exceeding client expectations and saving INR 5 million. When the project is complete, it will not only supply enough water to meet the requirements during the summer, but it will also supply clean drinking water to improve the quality of life.
